Clean Cashmere is presently working with existing cashmere farmers and those interested in adding cashmere goats for an added value income stream to their farms.
They provide consultation on how to best incorporate cashmeres to existing herds/flocks, as well as how to develop the best start up plan. Beside consultation, they guide farmers on acquiring a robust genetic base to guarantee the end product is not only a high-quality cashmere but it comes from good healthy stock.
To date they have no underlying contracts or commitments for their expertise and support but do offer farmers a guarantee purchase price that is paid immediately after the fiber is sent to the mill.
